Dr. Roger Wong is a Clinical Professor in the Division of Geriatric Medicine in the University of British Columbia (UBC) Department of Medicine and is a Consultant Physician of the Geriatric Consultation Program at the Vancouver General Hospital. He is the Vice-Dean (Education) in the UBC Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Wong has been appointed to the Order of Canada, the first time a geriatrician is appointed to the country’s highest civilian honour, for his contributions to the field of geriatric medicine, including the advancement of policies, education, and specialized, culturally sensitive health care. 黃醫生是卑詩大學 (UBC) 醫學院的副院長(教育) 和老年醫學部的臨床教授，同時也是溫哥華綜合醫院裡老年醫學部的顧問醫師。憑藉在老年醫學研究，包括推動發展政策、教育，及提供配合不同文化需要的醫療護理服務的貢獻，黃醫生榮獲加拿大勳章，這也是首位老年醫學專家獲此殊榮。

Dr. Gary Eng was born in San Francisco but raised in Vancouver, BC. After graduating from the University of British Columbia with his Bachelor of Science degree, he headed back to San Francisco and attended the California College of Podiatric Medicine. His final year of study was completed in Los Angeles at the LA County + University of Southern California Medical Center (LAC/USC Medical Center) obtaining his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree (D.P.M.). He then completed his Podiatric Surgical Residency Program at Wadsworth VA Medical Center/UCLA in West Los Angeles, California.
Dr. Eng returned to Vancouver after completing his training to start his own practice and has been here ever since. When not in his office, Dr. Eng can usually be found on a tennis court or a yoga studio. Tennis though, remains his passion.
Dr. Eng is a Podiatric Surgeon registrant of the College of Physician and Surgeons of BC.

Dr. Eng has been in private practice in Vancouver for over 34 years. He has been providing podiatric care to the residents of Villa Cathay Seniors Care Home for over 33 years.
Dr. Eng is on staff at Vancouver General Hospital and the Forensic Psychiatric Hospital. He had been the consultant podiatrist at both Riverview Hospital and Shaughnessy Hospital prior to their closing.

Dr. Vivian Lo was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to Canada in 1995 as an Educational Counsellor. She acquired her Bachelor’s Degree majoring in English Literature and Educational Psychology as well as a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology, Educational Management (Counselling), and Business Administration respectively. She furthered her studies at Simon Fraser University and got a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology. She is a former member of the Charter Institute of Linguists in the UK and a certified art therapist with an Advanced Diploma in Art Therapy in Canada.

About Kenny Mark: Kenny acquired his physiotherapy skills from studies in New Zealand, Australia and Canada. He is also certified to practice acupuncture. In past work experiences, Kenny often found that there is just not enough time to thoroughly treat his patients. It has been much more satisfying to have the opportunity to work one-to-one with his patients at Fairview Physiotherapy as he has discovered greater success with his patients by being able to provide personalized attention to them. Kenny has a special interest in sports injuries, headaches, whiplash, and neck/back injuries. Kenny’s treatment philosophy incorporates manual therapy, acupuncture and exercise to produce the best treatment results. He finds acupuncture to be especially beneficial in dampening the patient’s pain, allowing him to utilize his manual therapy techniques more effectively. He speaks Cantonese fluently.

About Ming Chan: Ming Chan was born in Hong Kong. He obtained a B. Sc. Hons degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering as well as an MBA degree from the UK. After moving back to Asia, he worked as the Managing Director for U.S. high-tech companies such as Fairchild Semiconductor and General Radio, responsible for the business in the Asia Pacific. He retired to Vancouver 20 years ago and has been a volunteer at Vancouver Sowers Society of Education for the last 12 years. He is an expert outdoorsman and passionate about education for people of all ages.
