REUNITING RESIDENTS & THEIR FAMILY 協助長者與家人團聚
One of the hardest things for Villa Cathay residents during this pandemic has been staying away from their loving family members and friends.
在新形冠狀病毒大流行期間，對華宮的長者來說，面對最困難的事情之一，就是不能與關愛他們的家人和朋友見面。
Since the Province announced on June 30 to ease the visitation restriction in long-term care homes, Villa Cathay has developed a thorough safety plan to enable Villa Cathay residents to safely reunite with their loved ones. We have arranged over 80 residents to meet with their designated visitors since July 20.
當省政府在6月30日宣佈放寬探訪長期護理安老院的限制，華宮便隨即制定了一項全面的安全計劃，讓華宮的長者可以在安全的情況下與親人團聚。自7月20日起，至今已經有超過80名的華宮長者，與他們的指定訪客會面。
new activities THIS SUMMER 迎來新的夏季活動
Our residents’ summer schedule used to be occupied by field trips, entertainment shows brought to them by different community organizations, group activities and celebrations. This Summer, we have introduced to the residents new games to brighten their days while they are staying at Villa Cathay.
以往的暑假，長者一般的活動會包括到戶外郊遊以及有各個社團組織前來為他們帶來不同的娛樂節目，集體活動和慶祝活動等等。今年夏天，我們搜購了一些新的遊戲，讓長者足不出戶也可以歡歡樂樂。
COUPLE REUNITED IN VILLA CATHAY 夫婦在華宮重聚
There are still seniors in the community who are waiting for their preferred long-term care homes to provide care to meet their needs. We are really glad to be able to offer our home for a couple so that they can be reunited! Mr. Liu followed his wife Mrs. Liu to Villa Cathay after she became a Villa Cathay resident. We arranged for them to meet after they have not seen each other for over two months:
在社區內，仍有不少的長者正在等待適合他們的長期護理院，為他們提供照顧服務。劉婆婆在今年五月份成為華宮的住客，而她的先生亦隨她在七月份搬入華宮安老院。華宮非常高興，能夠讓這對夫婦在華宮團聚！以下是他倆分開兩個多月來，首次在華宮見面的情況:
All resident rooms in the East Tower are individual en-suites. Hence, Mr. & Mrs. Liu will need to stay in separate rooms temporarily. We are looking forward to having them stay in a couple room once Villa Cathay Rejuvenation Project is complete by the end of 2021.
華宮東大樓所有的住客房間均為獨立套房，故此，劉婆婆需要暫時與先生住在不同的房間，但是，當華宮安老院重建計劃在2021年底完成時，我們便可以安排他們在夫婦房居住。
Villa Cathay Rejuvenation Project Construction Update 華宮安老院重建計劃興建進度
The construction of the Phase 2 of Villa Cathay Rejuvenation Project has been in full swing. We are very close to finishing the foundation of the West Pavilion and we anticipate that framing will begin by the end of this September.
重建計劃第二期的工程正如火如荼的進行，西苑的奠基工作即將完成，大樓的框架預計會在今年9月底開始安裝。
