Villa Cathay Care for Seniors Month 2025

For seniors with complex health conditions, a long-term care home is often the only viable option after all other alternatives have been exhausted. Government funding only supports the basic care needs for residents. However, access to more person-centered programs and services is critical for seniors to continue thriving and living a meaningful life. Support from the community is vital for Villa Cathay to deliver enhanced programs and services for Villa Cathay residents!
Proceeds from Care for Seniors Month 2025 will help expand access to a range of programs designed to promote the holistic well-being of our residents. These person-centered initiatives include Art Therapy, Music Therapy, therapeutic recreation, rehabilitation and occupational therapy, as well as wellness programs offering acupuncture and massage therapies.
Activities of Care for Seniors Month 2025:
- Online fundraising campaign including email and social media outreach
- Fundraising Team competition
- Mass Media promotion in CHMB AM1320 and Fairchild Radio AM1470 and FM96.1, Ming Pao Daily and Sing Tao Daily.
- Online Silent Auction till November 28, 2025
