Help Us Create a Daily Printed Newspaper for Residents

Printed Chinese newspapers are no longer available. Many of our residents are not comfortable reading news on tablets or screens, so we will begin creating a simple in-house printed newspaper each day to help them continue this important daily routine.

印刷版中文日報已停止發行。由於許多長者並不習慣使用平板電腦或電子屏幕閱讀新聞，我們將每日製作一份簡單的院內印刷新聞，協助他們延續這項重要的日常閱讀習慣。

We are looking for reliable volunteers to help copy and paste selected online news into a Word / PDF for printing.
我們誠邀有興趣並能穩定協助的義工，協助從網上新聞來源複製及貼上新聞內容至 Word／PDF 檔案，以便列印。

Around 30 minutes per day 每天約需 30 分鐘

Volunteer with our Seniors

Villa Cathay is seeking nurturing, dependable and caring volunteers with a passion to working with seniors. Seniors often struggle with isolation and loneliness. Visiting a senior for just one hour a week can have a significant positive impact on their mental health and sense of connection and purpose.

Administrative Volunteers

Villa Cathay is looking for enthusiastic volunteers who are available on-call to support a variety of short-term administrative projects.

Specific responsibilities

Assist with small to large mail outs
Assemble and organize packages

Qualifications

Have availability during business hours
Possess strong organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
